Johnathon in his opening match performed consistently to maintain a lead until the 13th end. A strong performance by his opponent in the 13th and 14th ends resulted in a drawn game 12-12.. Richard and Jim met strong resistance from their opponents in the opening Pairs match. The result could have gone either way but Shropshire managed to to win with a final score of 10 shots to Worcs. and 14 shots to Shropshire. In their Pairs match Leah and Sean were behind up to the 10th end. Their very strong fightback, which started in the 9th end, resulted in them scoring 12 shots in ends 9 – 15, during which time their opponents scored 1 shot.  –  Leah and Sean had a well deserved 16-10 win.

In the Fours, Malcolm’s team had a very close and hard fought match, but they maintained their nerve and ran out winning by 11 shots to 10. Terry’s Fours team had a different sort of match  –  with a score not often seen in an inter county competition. They won all their ends to run up a massive 23 shots. Not much more you can say about this match except to congratulate the team on a unique and wonderful performance.

Leah and Sean narrowly lost 14-17 in their Pairs match.
