Session   2

A complete reversal of fortunes in this session. Shropshire won the four matches to gain all eight points. With a negative shot difference of 31 for the session, Worcestershire were still four shots ahead of Shropshire at the half way stage , even though they were behind on points gained. Although both the triples and fours teams lost their matches, Terry Clifford’s team had an interesting battle with the opposition  –  the first two ends were tied. At the end of the 6th end only four shots had been scored. Shropshire eventually went on to win scoring eight shots to Worcestershire’s four, which could well be close to a record for a low scoring match.
