This match against Gloucestershire, played at Kingsway Gloucester, was the first leg of the 2025 Two Shires Trophy competition. Worcestershire have tended to struggle when playing Gloucestershire but this year saw the county winning this leg by 21 points to 19. Worcestershire won 8 individual games played from the total of 16, drawing 1, and sharing the bonus points available, namely 4. The county scored 147 shots compared with 167 for their opponents. There were a number of successes for the county, particularly for teams 2 and 6, who won both of their two games played.

The county hosted Droitwich Spa at Bromsgrove on the 2nd February in a friendly match. The format for this competition was eight triples teams playing in the two morning sessions with 2 bowls  for each bowler, and in the two afternoon sessions playing with 3 bowls-  games were 12 ends in length. Worcestershire won the competition winning 10 of the individual games and drawing 1. The county scored a total of 217 shots with Droitwich scoring 144 with Worcestershire running out winning by 21 points to 11.  Three of Worcestershire’s teams won both their games with Team 8 having a particularly god day  –  winning 19 of the their total of 24 ends played, scoring 44 shots compared with their opponents total of 7.
