The County were at home for this second leg fixture for the Two Shires Trophy, played at the Stourport civic Hall. The format for the day’s play was triples teams playing with 3 bowls over 10 ends. Following on from the success the County had at Gloucester in February, winning by 21 points to 19, the County started the day in fine form. The two morning sessions saw the County win 6 of the 8 individual games, giving the County 12 points plus 4 bonus points for a positive shot difference. In the afternoon sessions the County was not as successful but with wins by teams 1 and 2 in the first afternoon session the County gained another 4 points plus 2 bonus points for shot difference. This fixture ended with the County scoring 22 points, with Gloucestershire scoring 18. Putting the two legs of the competition together, Worcestershire scored 43 Points compared with 37 for Gloucestershire . The Trophy returns to Worcestershire.
