This home fixture against Gloucestershire was the fist leg of the competition for 2026 Two Shires Trophy.

In the afternoon game, Tyler was behind his opponent after the third end until drawing level 13-13 during the 14th end. Tyler finished the final end superbly by winning three shots to achieve an overall win 16-13. Tyler at the age of 14 has really made his mark for the county. The other success was a win for Jenny Gibbs and Jim Tingle in their afternoon Pairs game. This was a close contest with Jenny and Jim drawing level 14-14 going into the final end which they won convincingly by 3 shots to win overall 17-14.
